Modern Nursery

Oeuf cribs are modern baby furniture items that are both attractive and eco friendly. Oeuf, pronounced “UH-F,” means “egg” in French and suggests clean, simple design. The name Oeuf is synonymous with the sleek, modern style of each crib. Manufactured in Latvia, each crib is made using sustainable materials with the highest standards relating to labor, safety, quality and environmental concerns. Cut from single sheets of wood panels, the sides, footboard and headboard are made to ensure safety by eliminating hazards caused from loosening of joints. Oeuf cribs do not have drop sides due to the risk of injury to the child in case of failure of a drop side. Also, the mattress can be adjusted to three different heights as your child grows. The cribs then easily convert into toddler beds with the help of a conversion kit. Oeuf cribs are available in two distinct nursery collections – Classic and Sparrow.

The Classic crib consists of a solid birch base. The sides, footboard and headboard are made from MDF (recovered wood fibers). Oeuf Classic cribs are finished with a white, nontoxic, water-based finish. The Oeuf Classic crib is available in two color combinations: white lacquer sides with a solid birch base with either a natural or walnut stain. The dimensions of the classic crib are as follows: 54.25″W X 30.25″L X 36″H; only a mattress measuring at least 27 1/4″ X 51 5/8″ and 4–6” thick may be used with this crib.

The Sparrow crib is constructed from birch wood, solid wood and plywood. Oeuf Sparrow cribs have a unique mattress support which is made using a solid wood frame and a durable hardboard top. Sparrow cribs are available in three non-toxic finishes: birch, white and grey. The Sparrow crib’s dimensions are as follows: 53.5″W X 29.5″L X 36″H; only a mattress measuring at least 27 1/4″ X 51 5/8″ and between 4″–6″ thick may be used with this crib.

Oeuf cribs are truly exceptional on every level. They are attractively simple, modern, multi-functional, eco-friendly and safety-conscious. What more could a parent want?
